As the Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in leading our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services that meet the unique needs of each individual.
About the Role:
As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for:
- Leadership: Oversee and manage the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and effective care management
- Staff Development: Identify education and training needs, develop and implement staff development programs to enhance clinical and interpersonal skills
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent communication and customer service
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement care plans, interventions, and patient-centered services
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Develop and manage the nursing budget, including staff salaries, supplies, and equipment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing leadership or management
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
