What You’ll Do
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
- Help residents improve independence with daily living skills such as dressing, grooming, mobility, and self-care
- Assist in implementing individualized therapy treatment plans
- Document therapy sessions and resident progress using Net Health
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals and outcomes
- Encourage residents through creative and functional therapy interventions
- Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active state license (or eligibility)
- Experience in SNF/LTC preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and passion for helping others regain independence
- Supportive therapy and leadership team
- Collaborative environment with PT, OT, SLP, and nursing staff
- Modern documentation systems including Net Health
- Opportunity to work with a diverse resident population
