What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI Product Manager (Middle and Back Office Tech) position at Focus Capital Markets?
Focus Capital Markets is introducing an AI product owner to work directly in our asset management division. In this role, you will partner with financial operations and treasury professionals from the top asset manager in the country, while also partnering with one of the premiere Frontier AI companies in the world to define opportunities to implement agentic AI workflows in daily finance operations.
You will work with the business and its frontier AI partner to define strategy and execute AI modernization for middle and back office technology operations.
This role sits at the intersection of frontier AI technology and financial operations and is part of a multi-year AI transformation within the top asset manager in the country.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years of experience within product of an asset manager, hedge fund, PE or major financial services firm (i.e. product manager or product owner).
- Proven knowledge of middle and back office operations (i.e. settlements, reconciliations, P&L, fund accounting, etc.).
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, ideally in a professional setting.
- Interest in defining and discovering how AI can be implemented within financial workflows.
- Knowledge of back office or fund accounting vendor products.
Salary : $215,000 - $275,000
