Lancaster County ONLY DAYLIGHT SHIFTS
Job Type: Part-Time up to 30 hours with growth expected
Pay: $16.50-$18.50, based on experience, education and shifts worked.

About the Role

As a DSP, you will provide compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes or community-based settings. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
• Assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments or other required activities
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in the community
• Document services provided and report any health or safety concerns
• Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for growth and self-determination

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation insured in your name
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Previous experience in caregiving or human services preferred but not required
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
