We are committed to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs. The Assembler will work on fiber optic assembly of basic medical assembly and complex industrial assembly of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble fiber optic cable components according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Operate tools and equipment to cut, strip, and terminate fiber optic cables.
- Ensure that assembled cables meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair cables as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate with supervisors and coworkers regarding production status and quality issues.
Qualifications/Experience/Education
- Ability to read/follow and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small parts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mid-level skillset on a flow-line.
- Good communication skills and ability to precisely follow work instructions.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient at reading and writing the English language.
