About the Role
This is an opportunity for a highly capable Design & Development Coordinator to take on a larger role in shaping how parts are designed, developed, and launched into production.
You’ll work at the center of customer requirements, design work, and plant operations—helping ensure parts are accurate, manufacturable, and delivered successfully.
What You’ll Do
- Interpret customer prints and requirements to create CAD drawings and CNC-ready files
- Coordinate and support prototyping, sampling, and new part development
- Set up parts, including bill of materials and costing inputs
- Maintain accurate specs, pricing, and revision history
- Partner closely with production to ensure successful launches and ongoing performance
- Support quality processes, including first article inspections and documentation
- Serve as a key resource within the plant for design and development questions
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and clarity across workflows
- Support the team in other ways as needed, including office and production cross-training and support
What You Bring
- Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret prints and apply strong math skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (CNC a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset—you take initiative and follow through
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams
