Position Overview
A designer at FMS is an important part of our team. We’re looking for a creative with insatiable curiosity and a desire to always get better, someone with a love of ideas, design, and a keen attention to detail. The right designer will have knowledge of both print and digital design best practices, and animation or motion experience is a big plus. If you’ve got exceptional design skills, a good sense of humor, good communication skills and a solid work ethic, you’ll be right at home here.
This is a full-time, salaried position. Our designers get their hands on brand identity systems, advertising, print, digital, video, and all other manner of brand-related work. You’ll be working within existing brand structures as well as helping to create new ones.
Qualifications:
- A spectacular portfolio
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, extra points for After Effects), Figma, Office, Slack
- 3-5 years of graphic design experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Understanding of digital and print production best practices
- Ability to work under timelines without compromising performance or accuracy
- Work well in a team environment and enjoy collaboration
- Ability to work within existing brand guidelines
- Motion / Animation not required but very welcome
Working Hours
• This is a full‑time position. While the role gravitates toward an in‑office presence to facilitate collaboration, FMS embraces flexibility. Both scheduled and unscheduled remote stints are welcomed.
• Travel: approximately 6–8 trips per year for client discovery, workshops, production, and key presentations.
