Job Description: The Role As a Procurement Senior Specialist, you will fully perform the responsibilities of a Procurement Operations associate, leading with expertise and quality execution. In addition to core operational duties, you’ll support strategic projects, analytics, associate development, and other initiatives as needed. You’ll play an integral role in managing workflows, leading internal projects, and resolving moderate to complex issues. You’ll also contribute to improvements in execution, change control, workflow management, and operational quality assurance. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 3 years of Procurement experience Ability to mentor, coach, and develop associates Demonstrated project management skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Proven leadership, self-motivation, and determination to succeed Technical proficiency with tools such as Excel, Word, Ariba, ServiceNow, and Fieldglass Effective oral and written communication skills focused on customer service Experience balancing daily responsibilities while participating in or leading projects Strong business insight and executive presence, with comfort engaging a wide range of stakeholders The Team You’ll be a key contributor to the Category Operations team, serving as a subject matter expert and guiding both team members and business partners. You’ll help identify and address operational challenges, recommend improvements, and drive efficiencies that support Fidelity’s Procurement goals. Your leadership will help grow the Procurement offering, support business objectives, and foster associate development through coaching and mentorship. You’ll also lead the end-to-end deal process, collaborating with business partners and suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes. Certifications: Category: Procurement Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
