The Nurse Practitioner Diffs examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals following established standards and practices. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Relies on education, experience, professional training and judgement to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision under the direction of the collaborating physician, as appropriate.
