- Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate the customer's needs.
- Reviews sales proposals
- Assist in communicating application information to integrator clients
- Partner with the Duravant Material Handling Operating Companies to understand product capabilities.
- Develop relationships with integrator partners.
- Stay current on Duravant Material Handling products and applications.
- Solicit quotes for equipment from Duravant Material Handling Operating Companies
- Develop Bill of Materials for pricing from drawings provided by the customer
- Develop Pricing Review Document (PRD)
- Schedule technical and price review meetings
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in conveyor and material handling layouts.
- Expert at AutoCAD and advanced MS Excel
- Ability to travel domestically 25%
- EXPERIENCE: Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows. Adaptable, flexible, and pro-active. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Proven track record working in an organized and structured way. A positive contributor and a team player. Willingness & availability to travel. Related industry experience is an asset.
- Additionally, there are infrequent requirements to assist Project Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and/or Field Service Technicians in offsite work involving significantly different skills and environmental conditions from day-to-day requirements (use of measuring devices like calipers, tape measures, etc.). The environment is often extreme temperatures, wet and humid, noise levels above 85dB, climbing ladders and working from elevated platforms, access is often restrictive and requires agility to perform work, machinery which may start and stop without warning and floors and ladders are often wet and/or slick.
