We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Coaching / Soccer Academy Coach to lead our youth sports programs and elevate the development of aspiring athletes. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive coaching strategies tailored to various age groups and skill levels within the soccer academy.
- Lead coaching sessions, providing expert guidance on technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
- Mentor and supervise coaching staff, ensuring high-quality instruction and consistent adherence to program standards.
- Coordinate training schedules, tournaments, camps, and special events to maximize participant engagement and development.
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful behavior among players.
- Monitor player progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, maintaining a secure environment for children and staff alike.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching, with a strong background in soccer or related physical activities such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or martial arts like judo or karate.
- Prior leadership experience as a coach or director within youth sports programs or health clubs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adolescents, including behavior management skills.
- Knowledge of teaching physical education principles and child development best practices.
- Lifeguard experience is a plus, along with familiarity in swimming or other aquatic activities.
- Certifications in sports coaching, first aid/CPR, or related fields are highly desirable.
- Additional skills in teaching martial arts (e.g., judo), gymnastics (e.g., climbing), or working within gym environments will be considered advantageous.
