FMC Health is seeking a Front Desk Agent (FDA) to join our team. FDAs are responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the flow of patients in a primary or urgent care clinic. This may include tasks such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, answering phones, and managing patient information. FDAs are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized waiting area, handling billing and insurance paperwork, and assisting with general office tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

- Managing patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Handling billing and insurance paperwork
- Maintaining a clean and organized waiting area
- Assisting with general office tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Athena EMR is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform other duties as required
