Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Hutto, TX. As a Veterinarian at FM685 Animal Hospital, you will provide preventative care, diagnose and treat illnesses, and perform surgeries for a variety of canine and feline patients. You will also engage with pet owners to educate them on proper pet care, nutrition, and treatment plans. Additionally, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to ensure the health and well-being of pets under our care. Graduating vet students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a range of health conditions in dogs and cats, including routine procedures or referrals to specialty care
• Skilled in performing surgeries and utilizing diagnostic tools and technologies
• Strong communication skills for building relationships with pet owners and providing clear medical advice
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals in a fast-paced environment
• Dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality care
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• Current Texas veterinary license and DEA registration
• Experience in a clinical setting or internships is a plus

Compensation depends on experience, full time $110,000-$150,000 per year. Enjoy a 4-day workweek with rotating Saturday shifts. NO on-call, overnights, or evenings. Will consider part time (2-3 days/week) applicants as well. We are closed on all major holidays so staff can spend time with their families. CE is encouraged and is paid for with a generous allowance. Generous discounts available for your pets’ medical care. We also offer a signing bonus and paid vacations.
