This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of project managers, engage with high-profile clients, and drive project success across a diverse portfolio.
Position Overview:
As the Head of Project Management, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of project managers while maintaining strong relationships with multiple key clients within the Facilities Management sector. This role is critical for shaping construction project strategies, ensuring successful delivery, and enhancing client satisfaction within a dynamic and high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met. Cultivate and maintain strong, productive client relationships.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to a team of project managers. Conduct performance reviews, offer guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Project Oversight: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective project management strategies and best practices to optimize performance and drive successful project outcomes.
- Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project success.
- Client Communication: Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, address any concerns, and manage expectations effectively.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes to improve overall efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports on project status, performance metrics, and other key information to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in facilities management is highly desirable.
