What You'll Do:
- Assistant Custodian Level I – IV is determined by assignment type (e.g., elementary, combined site, high school, multi-site) and Facility Management
- Communicate and coordinate with school staff, students, and community members in alignment with District Success Factors
- Maintain facility security by locking doors, windows, and gates; report unsafe conditions or needed repairs
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, drinking fountains, cafeterias, and other facility areas; gather and dispose of trash
- Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, sealing, and polishing
- Safely use chemicals and power equipment; remove graffiti, gum, and other markings, applying protective coatings as needed
- Inspect and clean equipment, air vents, and filters; perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs to building systems, furniture, and fixtures
- Conduct a variety of grounds work and assist with pool maintenance in compliance with district and safety codes
- Move and assemble furniture, distribute supplies, and prepare spaces for scheduled events or activities
- Supervise, assign, and train custodial staff; support or act in place of the Facility Manager when required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Eighteen years or older.
- Completion of District specific training or equivalent required for all levels.
- Must successfully complete District new employee training within 90 days of start date.

- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
