Schedule

Day Shift Hours- 6 am - 3:30 pm

Essential Functions - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

· Organize, manage, and properly document all activity of production area in accordance with SQF and Standard Operating Procedures.

· Move skids from Production and shrink wrap. Transport to various locations via forklift.

· Complete production work orders electronically in TNL.

· Transports goods throughout facility and loads trucks for transfer.

· Counts and records number of units of material moved or handled.

· Fills item transfer requests.

· Utilizes the RF scanner to transfer product from internal warehouses.

· Pulls proper packaging for the production lines.

· Places bins above the correct production line.

· Supplies mixing with materials/ingredients daily based on list provided by Lead Mixer.

· Occasionally unloads trailers as needed.

- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

Education - The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Language Skills – The ability to read, write and comprehend the English language. Must have the ability to follow directions, both verbal and written, and to apply this knowledge to complete work assignment.

Math Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands – Must be met by an employee to successfully perform job.

· Required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent need to talk or hear. Occasional need to sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.

· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds regularly.

Work Environment

· While working this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions – such as heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Computer Skills – Must be able to complete transactions using computer and rf scanning equipment. This will require learning the unique internal systems to complete transactions and place production skids into assigned racks, locations and shipping lanes.

Additional Qualifications

· Forklift and Electric Jack experience required. Must be able to safely manipulate vehicles around moving co-workers with extreme care.
