What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Behavior Technician/BCBA Intern position at Flywheel Centers?
The Lead Behavior Technician / BCBA Intern plays a key role in creating successful, engaging group sessions within our ABA center. In this position, you'll help lead group activities, prepare materials, support BTs in real time, and step in to provide direct therapy when needed. You'll also mentor new team members and help ensure each session runs smoothly and with purpose.
As a Lead Behavior Technician/BCBA Intern, you'll be a trusted leader who elevates service quality, strengthens the BT team, and fosters meaningful client engagement. This role is especially ideal for someone working toward their BCBA, offering valuable hands-on experience and leadership opportunities while growing your clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Guide and energize daily group sessions, helping create an engaging, structured, and fun environment where clients can thrive.

Foster active participation by supporting clients in meaningful, hands-on group activities that build skills and confidence.

Set the stage for success by preparing materials and ensuring everything is ready to go before each session.

Support your team by helping onboard and mentor new RBTs/BTs through shadowing and real-time learning opportunities.

Communicate closely with the clinical team, sharing insights on client progress, group dynamics, and ways we can best support staff.

Collaborate in team meetings, contributing your voice, ideas, and clinical perspective to help shape and strengthen our program.
