Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations & Leadership
- Supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers.
- Schedule, train, and motivate team members to ensure high performance and teamwork.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth service and food consistency.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house management to coordinate service and menu changes.
- Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations (local, state, and federal).
- Monitor portion control, waste reduction, and product rotation (FIFO).
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies.
- Track food costs and labor expenses to meet budget goals.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance when needed.
- 3 years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (ServSafe certification preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
