About the Role:
This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about esports and internet culture who’s eager to learn the ins and outs of brand social media.
As a Social Media Intern, you’ll assist with content creation, help manage daily posting and engagement, and contribute ideas that resonate with our community. You’ll work closely with our Socials, Marketing and Content teams to support campaigns, live coverage, and fan engagement while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with brainstorming and drafting social content (graphics, videos, memes, captions) tailored to FlyQuest’s audience and platforms.
- Help manage the content calendar and coordinate with team members to keep campaigns organized and on track.
- Support the Social Team Verticals by contributing to content ideation, scheduling, and community engagement.
- Assist with scheduling posts and supporting the day-to-day needs of FlyQuest’s official social media accounts.
- Monitor platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok to engage with fans (liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content).
- Stay on top of gaming and esports trends to help identify timely and creative content ideas.
- Help coordinate social media projects and campaigns, including giveaways, live event coverage, and sponsor activations.
- Learn to track post performance using analytics tools and help summarize insights for the team.
- Ensure content supports FlyQuest’s brand tone and messaging.
Qualifications:
- Genuine interest in esports and gaming culture (bonus points if you follow VALORANT, CS2, LoL, or FGC scenes).
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc...) and how they’re used in gaming communities.
- Strong written communication skills, especially in a social media voice/tone.
- Some experience using tools like Asana, CapCut, or basic Adobe Suite programs (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.) is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to learn about analytics and how social content performance is tracked.
- Comfortable managing time, meeting deadlines, and working both independently and as part of a team.
- This role may occasionally require flexibility to support events or initiatives that occur outside of standard business hours.
- A collaborative attitude, openness to feedback, and eagerness to grow.
- Any past work on personal or school-related social accounts is a plus but not expected.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Proficiency in operating computers, office equipment, and different software. Effective verbal and written skills.
