Duties:
- Perform various tasks related to plant care maintenance, including but not limited to:
- Client visits
- Watering, pruning, cleaning, and fertilizing plants
- Repotting plants
- Pest treatments & IPM
- Assisting with growing and maintaining plants in our plant design studio in the Arts District
- Assisting with plant design installations
Experience:
- Previous experience in professional plant care maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with common plant genus and species
- Knowledge of the different type of plant care per genus
- Inspecting and purchasing plants from different nurseries
- Knowledgeable on how to use Google Sheets
As a Plant Care Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to plant design and plant care maintenance. You will work with a team to ensure the proper care and upkeep of potted plants, plant installations, and other types of plant designs. Your attention to detail and knowledge of plant design, soil composition, propagation, and plant care maintenance will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive your own car
- Willingness to learn about different plants and their needs
- Familiarity with common plants and best plant care practices
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of work performed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work on a ladder up to 12 feet tall
