Job Summary: In this role you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufactured building envelope products, including glazing systems, metal panels, and fabricated trims. You will work closely and collaboratively with the production teams to uphold standards and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Daily Responsibilities 
·  Promote, enforce, and continuously improve quality standards for all our shop fabrication processes
·  Perform in‑process and final inspections on storefront, curtainwall, entrances, and other fabricated glazing components 
·  Review shop drawings, fabrication details and specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy
·  Train and mentor team members on proper quality control techniques and recommend process improvements
·  Monitor proper use of tools and machinery while maintaining a strong safety culture
·  Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and address quality concerns
·  Complete required reports and SOP documentation as needed

·  Assist in other tasks and/or other departments as needed 

Requirements 

·   Must have 2 years of experience working  in QC/QA role

·   Ability to train or mentor shop staff, able to enforce quality standards 

·  Strong attention to detail
·  Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
·  Comfortable standing 8-10 hours per day and working in a shop setting
·  Reliable transportation- can make the daily commute to Salt Lake City, UT
·  Pass a background check and drug screening

·   Preferred but not required: previous working experience with building envelop products (glazing, architectural metals)
