ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for collecting, folding towels and completing laundry along with daily cleaning of all assigned areas. This person will work with all areas and departments to ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of the Club.
- Daily cleaning of all assigned Club areas to the highest degree of quality
- Be responsible for laundering towels as needed (collecting, folding, starting washing machine and dryer)
- Ability to perform cleaning duties as needed
- Be part of a team with a positive attitude and provide regular support to team-mates
- Responsible for the re-stocking of all assigned areas such as paper products, locker room supplies, etc.
- Laundry on a daily bases for pool towels and locker room towels
- Spot clean as needed while performing regular walk-throughs for quality cleaning checks
- Assist with regular disinfecting of high touch areas
- Other duties as assigned by Athletic Club Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have one year of housekeeping experience. Must be detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational abilities and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Competency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy. Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.
