This role is responsible for basic grounds maintenance with a focus on mowing and weed eating to keep camp property clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Mow assigned areas using a riding mower
- Weed eat/trim around buildings, fences, and walkways
- Keep grounds neat by clearing grass clippings and debris as needed
- Perform basic equipment care (fueling, cleaning, reporting issues)
- Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment
- Flexible hours based on weather and mowing needs
- Primarily daytime work
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to safely operate a riding mower and weed eater
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable and able to complete assigned tasks independently
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a riding mower
- Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver for extended periods while trimming
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push, pull, and operate equipment safely
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and uneven terrain
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed to complete tasks
