Essential Functions
- Issue of purchase orders based on approved requisitions and inventory levels.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery timelines
- Assist in maintaining purchasing records and vendor files.
- Track shipments and work with receiving and inventory teams to ensure materials are properly received and recorded.
- Resolve basic order discrepancies or delays with vendors.
- Support cost comparisons and vendor quotes for basic items or supplies
- Help monitor stock levels and notify the team of potential shortages
- Assist in updating ERP or purchasing systems with current order and pricing information
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework or certification in business, supply chain, or logistics preferred.
- 1–2 years of purchasing, inventory, or administrative experience (preferred, not required)
- Basic understanding of purchasing or inventory processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP system experience a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, follow directions, and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
