What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acrylic Art Instructor position at Flying Colors Paint Night?
Welcome candidate to Flying Colors! The High Deserts only Paint and Sip studio! We are currently looking for creative, imaginative and inspired artists to add to our team! If you love fun work environments, working with friendly everyday aspiring artists and painting then we are the right job for you!
Job details:
You as an instructor will teach of class of up to 30 people as they relax and sip on wine. Classes last anywhere from 2-3 hours. You will start with a blank canvas and teach them how to paint the chosen Masterpiece for that night while occasionally helping hands on.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teaching or assisting. We are currently looking for a Artist but also may have you only assist during some classes, which will require helping set up, get paint, take payments and helping students as they paint.
- Coming up with new paintings! You will be required to dig deep in you pool of inspiration and come up with new and exciting paintings to teach as well as teaching our already existing masterpieces!
- Setting up and Breaking down, either alone or with an assistant you will come in and set up for each day if necessary and clean up and reset up after each class.
- Make sure studio stays clean by sweeping and keeping it tidy.
Job Requirements:
- PORTFOLIO IS REQUIRED! We're sorry but we are not accepting any candidates without a portfolio of at least a few personal works.
- Reliable transportation is a MUST!
- Must be prompt and on time each day.
- Creating new paintings as needed and meeting deadlines.
- Smiles and good attitudes! You will be working with the public and we need your very best foot forward!
