We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor the preparation of dishes to ensure they meet quality standards before they are served.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including proper food handling practices.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests from customers.
• Support bussing and serving duties during peak hours to enhance customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Experience in banquet services or hotel settings is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective coordination among team members.
