Flying A Canine Ranch is a Fear Free certified, all breed dog and cat boarding, grooming, training, and daycare facility. Now in our 20th year, we are growing quickly and are looking for Team Leaders. This job is full time, 35 to 40 hours a week. We provide exceptional care for our guests giving our customers peace of mind when they travel. We operate on 3 core values of Safety, Cleanliness, and Playtime. Responsibilities
Team Leaders’s job includes but not limited to the following:
- Working with AGM's for oversight of daily operations
- Modeling and encouraging positive company culture
- Ensuring wellness standards are met for the maximum comfort of each guest
- Ability to adapt to changing needs of daily tasks or needs of customers and guests
- Responsible for ensuring consistent and efficient workflow among team members
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary facility that exceeds health and safety standards
- Training new employees in tasks and upholding company values
- Leading team to make sure every guest, every owner, and every employee receives exceptional care
- Using and ensuring SOP's are followed
Ideal Candidate
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with both clients and staff
- Highly organized and capable of managing schedules, staffing, feeding routines, medication administration, and daily operations
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels
- Skilled in conflict resolution and creating a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to lead by example in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to multitask while maintaining close attention to animal safety and wellbeing
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting supplies, and active movement throughout shifts
- Knowledge of canine first aid, medication administration, and emergency protocols preferred
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak boarding seasons
- Passion for animal welfare and creating a positive experience for both dogs, their owners and their team
- Dog handling experience preferably in a dog daycare/boarding facility
