Job Summary
As a team member, you will be responsible for welcoming customers, educating them on cannabis products, and helping them find the best options for their needs. The goal is to ensure every customer leaves satisfied and confident in their purchase. During slower periods, you will assist with restocking, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, inviting store environment. While cannabis experience is preferred, it is not required—we provide the tools and training to help the right candidate succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Educate customers on cannabis products and their effects
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout your shift
- Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts
- Learn and comply with all state regulations and MED requirements
- Develop and maintain knowledge of cannabinoids and product offerings
- Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and management
- Follow all retail protocols and standard operating procedures
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
- Handle cash and debit transactions responsibly
- Verify customer identification in compliance with regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked storefront
Requirements
- Valid MED Badge
- Valid state-issued ID
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cannabis or retail experience (not required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the industry
