Summary and Objective
MRO Planner helps the Maintenance department plan, organize and schedule the facility, along with the record keeping required to increase plant productivity. Identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes. Preparation of reports, metrics, and other tracking tools will allow this employee to succeed.
Essential functions

Create and maintain work orders assuring estimates, costs and other elements are entered and accounted for
Support demand planning of incoming external and internal aircraft, including acting as liaison with Part 135 maintenance control for scheduled aircraft induction and planning
Focus on supporting scheduled maintenance and avionics departments
Manage hangar bay allocations helping to effectively plan hangar flow and workload
Support finance by assuring accuracy of work order elements
Drive improvements and optimization through creation of canned/standard work orders and items improving speed of factory throughput
Support project management and master scheduling with monitoring and managing work orders to include status updates, follow-up, invoicing, and confirming accurate delivery details to the customers
Monitoring any inconsistencies and making adjustments to improve efficiency.
Reporting on progress and any issues that emerge.
Work closely with Maintenance Control on technical issues as needed.
Work in collaboration with other Planners to maximize efficiency amongst the fleet.
Understand and fulfill all customer contractual obligations to include invoicing.

Required education and experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prior experience with work order management
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred education and experience
Experience with Cessna Citation series aircraft
3-5 years aviation experience
Familiar with CAMP and Corridor preferred
