Responsibilities
- Apply undercoating and rustproofing materials to new and used vehicles
- Prepare vehicles for application, including washing, masking, and positioning
- Operate undercoating and spray equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect vehicles before and after application to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Perform basic vehicle movement and positioning as needed
- Accurately complete required documentation and work orders
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in undercoating, painting, detailing, automotive service, or a related field is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work under vehicles for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to chemicals and noise
