What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deep Tissue massage therapist- Sports massage position at Flux Stretch Studio?
We are looking for a licensed massage therapist for deep tissue massage work. We specialize in Athletic recovery, and have built out a room for massage. Please be a licensed massage therapist in order to be considered.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver deep tissue or sports massage
- Encourage and motivate clients through deep bodywork
- Ensure safety of clients in regard to proper draping
- Assist in offsite events, and sales as needed.
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time.
Qualifications:
- Have a passion for client care and your craft as a therapist
- Required background:
- Licensed Massage Therapist
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a massage therapist
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
- Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy.
- Must love connecting with people and helping them achieve goals.
- Must have a professional work ethic.
- Must be available to go through our Training Program if applicable
