House Cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional cleaning services for residential properties, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services is a plus. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning techniques
• Ensure all surfaces are dusted, sanitized, and polished to meet client expectations
• Manage kitchen cleanliness by cleaning appliances, counters, and sinks; may include basic cooking or meal prep tasks as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by respecting client preferences and addressing any special requests
• Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
• Maintain organized supplies and report any maintenance or supply needs

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning; janitorial or custodial experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle laundry duties effectively and maintain organization within the home environment
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or housekeeper management is advantageous
• Basic cooking skills are a plus but not required; willingness to assist with light meal prep is appreciated
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting or bending
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
