Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) – EPA / Potable Water Specialist

Overview

Flux is staffing for a FEMA deployment in New Mexico and is seeking experienced EPA / Potable Water Subject Matter Experts. This role supports disaster recovery efforts involving drinking water systems, water quality, and regulatory compliance in post?disaster environments.

What You’ll Support

  • Assessment of potable water systems and water quality impacts
  • Technical support for drinking water infrastructure recovery
  • Regulatory compliance and technical standards guidance
  • Review of sampling data, reports, and remediation approaches
  • Coordination with environmental and engineering teams

What We’re Looking For

  • 10 years of experience in water systems, water quality, environmental engineering, or related fields
  • EPA, state regulator, or federal recovery experience preferred

Professional certifications could include, but are not limited to:

PE, licensed water operator certifications, environmental engineering credentials, or EPA?related certifications
