This role is based in Atlanta, GA and will focus on cost control, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for complex project portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of capital budgets across multiple projects
- Compile, interpret, and report financial and project data to assess performance and forecast results
- Conduct variance analysis and explain financial trends to project stakeholders
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and present recommendations to leadership
- Develop and maintain cost metrics and reporting tools to monitor key cost drivers
- Generate monthly capital reports for executive and project leadership
- Create visual presentations (charts, dashboards, metrics) to summarize financial and project data
- Work cross-functionally with operations, construction, and finance teams to gather inputs and improve processes
- Support staffing plans and resource modeling for project execution
- Perform ad hoc financial and cost analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience in cost control or project controls, ideally in the energy sector
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred
- Experience compiling financial data and reporting for capital projects
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and present to leadership
