Fluvanna County Public Schools seek to hire licensed Long Term Substitute Teachers at various school locations throughout the school year.

Salary: Daily Pay Rate, Non-Benefited Position https://www.fluco.org/o/fcs/page/salary-scales
Regular substitute pay of $110.00 for days 1-10
Requires substituting for licensed personnel (teacher assignment).
Minimum of 10 consecutive days in the same assignment with advance approval of long-term substitute pay.
If approved, long-term substitute pay of $225.00 will apply for days 11 - remainder of the assignment
Bachelor's degree and teaching license are preferred but not required.
LTS is a non-contracted and non-benefited position.
The rate of pay may vary and is based on the assignment, duties, duration and/or Virginia Teaching license status.
SUMMARY
The substitute teacher will work in the absence of a regular teacher. Assignments and locations may vary based on the needs of the school(s) and division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervision, care, monitoring, implementation of plans, and providing instruction of students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Follows instructional plan and visual schedules developed by the classroom teacher and/or specialist.

Records attendance, maintains accurate records, and incident reports.
*All substitutes must attend a FCPS Substitute Training Workshop prior to the start of employment. FCPS will notify applicants via email of upcoming workshop dates.*
QUALIFICATION
A valid Virginia Teaching license is preferred but not required.

Daily assignment/daily rate of pay. The rate of pay may vary and is based on the assignment, duties, and/or Virginia Teaching license status. Non-benefited position.
