What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Flushing Road Internal Medicine & Pediatrics?
We are looking for a qualified Medical Assistant. At least one year of medical assistant experience is required.
Job Description includes but not limited to:
- Directly interacting with the patients.
- Greet patients in a courteous manner.
- Preparing examination rooms for patients.
- Rooming patients, taking vitals, and concomitant medication history.
- Performing EKGs.
- Performing injections.
- Answering Phones.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintains inventory of supplies.
Education Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Medical Assistant for at least 1 year.
- Experience in EMR System for at least 1 year.
- Medical terminology.
Preferred Qualification:
What will make you stand out.
- EPIC experience for at-least one year.
- Certified Medical Assistant.
- Phlebotomy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
