Job Description
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance is required ***
- Maintains grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
- Safely operates and maintains grounds maintenance equipment such as:
power hedge trimmer, tractors, and basic gardening hand tools.
- Safely load and transport all types of equipment and/or materials to and from multiple locations.
- Perform snow removal operations and emergency on call services, as necessary, when required 24/7.
- Utilizes all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as required.
- Able to work with others in a team oriented environment to complete assigned tasks as required in a
- Installs or replaces turf, trees, ornamental plants, shrubs, ground covers, annuals, and bulbs as
- Assists with repairs and/or installations of fencing and paving materials for
drains, and culverts.
- Keeps all relevant tools, equipment, and materials in operating condition and stored in their proper
- Maintains service request records, equipment parts listings, equipment service/repair logs, and
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
- No required combination of education and directly related experience; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- High School Diploma/GED
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
