Job Description

This is an entry level position operating under working supervision in the construction engineering department. The purpose of this position is to provide clerical and basic technical support for the department including field engineers, surveyors and document management. This position typically has some prior experience in field and/or office setting and has acquired working knowledge of some key aspects.

• Assist in the operation of a construction engineering or field engineering department
• Work under the supervision of a construction engineer or survey party chief to perform various assignments of a construction engineering or field engineering support nature, both technical and clerical
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
• Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Basic Job Requirements

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  
  

Other Job Requirements

• Degree not required; employee is learning technical project experience
• Typically has three (3) years of project experience
• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to speak/read multiple languages

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $54,500.00 - $102,500.00
