The HR Generalist is responsible for managing and executing daily human resources activities in a wide variety of areas, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits management, and compliance with legal regulations. The HR Generalist will work closely with management and staff to provide guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practices to foster a positive work environment.
Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm (onsite in Monroe)
Travel: Arlington location weekly, and Auburn 1-2 times a month, mileage is reimbursed
Pay: $28-$40/ /DOE
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions
- Address workplace concerns, grievances and conflicts
- Provide guidance on HR policies and company policies
- Promote a positive organizational culture
- Administer employee benefits and COBRA paperwork
- Manage employee leave requests (FMLA, Paid Family, and medical leave, etc.).
- Recruitment and staffing
- Prepare HR reports as requested by management
- Compliance- ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices.
- Some travel between locations required, we have locations in Arlington, Monroe, Kent and Auburn.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in HR
- Manufacturing experience a plus!
- Strong people skills!

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office 365
