What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat Assembler position at Fluid Motion, LLC?
Fluid Motion, LLC - Manufacturer of Cutwater Boats and Ranger Tugs - is looking to expand its operations at its Arlington, WA facility.
Compensation: $20-$21.50/ DOE
Shift Hours: 5 am to 1:30 pm- Monday to Friday
Assembly Duties:
- Transports specified parts from storage to work area manually or by using an overhead crane.
- Removes burrs and rough surfaces from metal parts with hand file or portable pneumatic grinder.
- Apply sealant to parts and fits parts together on the bench according to SOP.
- Bolts, screws, and adheres parts together.
- Installs components into final install positions, connecting fittings and woodwork to lamination.
- Must have some experience with hand and power tools.
- Sets up and operates saws, sanders, and other bench tools.
- Connects electric wires to terminals of sub-assembly.
- Completes final assembly woodworking.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, balance and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the entire duration of shift.
- Ability to keep up with fast-paced environments.
- Ability to use hands for the duration of the shift
