Title: Kennel Technician (Part-Time)
Location: Ijamsville, MD
Schedule: Sundays and Mondays to start, 7:00–9:00 AM and 7:30–9:00 PM
Compensation: $16/hour

Looking for someone to help with dog care at FluentDog Training, LLC. The Kennel Technician is responsible for the day-to-day care of dogs as well as maintaining cleanliness. You will be handling dogs with behavioral issues, so following safety protocols and openness to all balanced training tools is key. On-the-job training is provided.
Ideal candidate DOESN’T MIND CLEANING POOP AND IS DETAIL ORIENTED. This is a very important job because successful training cannot happen without a tidy and sanitary environment. If you just want to play with dogs all day, this is not the position for you. Your work makes safe handling and effective training possible every day.
If you show reliability and a hunger to learn, we WILL invest in your education as a trainer, but daily care of the dogs comes first.

Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Age 18 ; high school diploma or equivalent.
- Available for required shifts (Sun/Mon 7–9 AM and 7–9 PM) consistently.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Able to walk/stand for entire shift
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
- Able to follow SOPs and use balanced training tools after training.
- Attention to detail, maturity, good judgment, and professionalism.
