Account Manager (Performance Marketing)

As an Account Manager, you will use your performance marketing expertise: analytical, communication and relationship building skills to provide superior client service, research and market analysis. You will persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your clients and understand how our offerings can grow their business.What You'll Do:Rapidly gain a thorough understanding of Fluent’s inventory offerings, reporting analysis, competitive advantages, resources, and processes and articulate them persuasively to new and existing clientsManage large book of business, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing advertisers, to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations and ensure long-term success.Monitor client budgets, with a focus on increasing marketing budgets or spends / Prepare and present formal business reviews to top clients.Serve as lead for all communication with client, including onboarding, performance feedback, creative changes, pacing reports, performance reports, client meetings, campaign recommendations, comprehensive strategy to enable revenue growth, etc.In partnership with Account Director, identify, create, and implement solutions grounded on achieving measurable business results for our clients. Serve as external product consultant educating clients and agencies on ad solutions and best practices, and ultimately grow business partnerships.Understand client’s key performance indicators, and clearly communicate these metrics internally for optimizationProactively introduce new revenue driving opportunitiesManage the onboarding process for the product - flow of campaign builds with sales, creative design with media team, and tracking requirements with Ops teamWork closely with teams internally to provide continued feedback and analysis, optimization suggestions and recommendationsFormulate plans to extend new business, and additional channel distribution with established accountsResponsible for overseeing monthly billable numbers to finance for invoicingRequirements3-5 years of relevant experience managing a book of business within digital performance marketingExperience in the digital performance spaceExtremely organized and meticulous, as you will manage many campaigns simultaneouslyExceptional communicatorAttentive to client budgets, spend targets, conscientious of revenue pacing, experienced in exercising sales skillsStrong math/analytical skillsHigh proficiency in Excel, ability to use functions to analyze complex data setsProficiency in utilizing industry tracking softwareExcellent writing skillsSelf-motivated/ self – starter mentalityManagement experience preferredAbout Us:Fluent, Inc. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Fluent salary range for this position.
