Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and organized Flight School Operations Scheduler to support daily flight operations. This role coordinates scheduling for students, Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs), aircraft, maintenance, and exams. The Scheduler plays a key role in keeping training efficient, on time, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Schedule student flight lessons based on training plans, aircraft availability, and instructor schedules
- Coordinate and manage CFI schedules
- In coordination with the maintenance team, schedule aircraft maintenance and inspections
- Assist with scheduling time building flights
- Schedule End of Course (EOC) exams with the Chief Flight Instructor
- Communicate schedule changes due to weather, aircraft availability, or instructor changes
- Maintain accurate schedules and records in flight school scheduling software
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students regarding scheduling needs
- Work closely with the Chief Flight Instructor, instructors, maintenance, and administrative staff
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with scheduling software
- Aviation or flight school experience
- Familiarity with Part 61 or Part 141 operations
