Responsibilities:
- Act as main point of contact for key customers becoming the “go-to” person for service and communication;
- Provide regular shipping updates and maintain performance scorecard for each client;
- Identify new bid opportunities to maximize potential of current accounts;
- Schedule quarterly business reviews with customers and operations team relative to account performance;
- Work in collaboration with sales team to service and grow the account;
- Become a subject matter expert on shipping, logistics and transportation industry;
- Provide world-class customer service to our clients.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years experience as an Account Manager, Sales Executive or relevant role;
- A sales/growth mindset associated with organic growth from client base;
- Experience with customer TMS systems, customer standard scorecard KPI requirements, quoting ability, some coverage skills and award management.
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Proven ability to develop and grow existing accounts;
- Organized operator with customer facing sales skills, excellent oral and written communicator, excellent in a high stress/fast paced environment and great person to person engagement skills.
- Strong work ethic and burning desire to win that is showcased through outworking the competition;
