Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns across multiple industries and complexity levels.
- Deliver proactive tax projections and planning strategies.
- Conduct tax research and apply insights to real client situations.
- Lead compiled and reviewed financial statement engagements.
- Communicate directly with clients and build long-term trust.
- Mentor junior staff and share knowledge to elevate the whole team.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license required (or in process).
- 4–5 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of tax preparation and GAAP.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks and UltraTax is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of big-picture thinking.
