Job Summary
Flower is hiring a Retail Lead for our high-volume retail stores in Missoula and Great Falls.
This is a hands-on floor role for someone who is reliable, steady under pressure, and comfortable holding standards during live retail operations. The Retail Lead works alongside budtenders during busy periods, helps maintain strong customer flow, and takes ownership of clean, accurate closing procedures at the end of the shift.
This is not a scheduling or store-manager role. It is a working lead position focused on execution, consistency, cash handling, and shift-level accountability.
What You’ll Do
- Work on the sales floor during busy periods alongside the team
- Support budtenders in real time and help keep customer flow smooth
- Reinforce strong customer service, professionalism, and register discipline
- Enforce approved discount structure and prevent side deals or workarounds
- Help maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready sales floor
- Review shift closeouts and resolve discrepancies before final close
- Count cash, reconcile tills, and prepare deposits
- Surface recurring issues and shift-level concerns to retail leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Prior cannabis retail experience preferred
- Prior lead, keyholder, shift lead, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail
- Able to hold peers accountable without creating unnecessary friction
- Calm, consistent, and reliable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
- Valid Montana agent badge required
