Workers' Compensation Defense - Legal Assistant

Workers’ compensation defense firm is currently seeking a full-time experienced legal secretary for multiple office locations with a minimum of 2-3 years’ or more experience, with ability to maintain an organized workspace, take initiative and understand the firm directive is essential. This is a hybrid position.

Pay Scale:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour – Wages dependent upon experience
Qualifications:
· Experience in a paperless filing system, as well as a case management system (Meruscase) is a plus
· Transcription experience;
· Effective oral and written communication skills;
· Excellent proofreading skills;
· EAMS filing experience;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook;
· Excellent time-management skills;
· Ability to perform multiple tasks;
· Ability to type a minimum of 80 words;
· Ability to perform assigned duties with minimum supervision;
· Ability to deal effectively and professionally with clients, associates and staff;
Must have eagerness to learn, great attitude, and willingness to be part of a team.
