Role Description The Total Rewards Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is responsible for administering and optimizing compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that support Floyd’s 99 Barbershop team members across multiple locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing benefit enrollment and changes, assisting with compensation reviews, maintaining total rewards data and documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Total Rewards Specialist collaborates with HR, payroll, and leadership to analyze market trends, recommend program enhancements, and support communication of total rewards offerings to employees. This role also responds to employee inquiries, provides education on benefits and compensation programs, and helps drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Experience with compensation and benefits administration, including salary structures, incentive programs, and health and welfare plans.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in HRIS systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to total rewards, such as FLSA, ACA, and other federal and state requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for partnering with HR, leadership, and employees across multiple locations.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-unit retail or service environment.
- Prior experience in HR, total rewards, or related field; experience in hospitality, retail, or grooming industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Professional HR or compensation-related certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CCP) preferred but not required.
