Floyd's 99 Barbershop is looking for an experienced, licensed Shop Manager who can lead from the front-delivering outstanding service to clients while building a motivated, high-performing team. You'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the shop, drive sales and profitability, coach the team on the client experience, and keep the shop looking and running at its best. Just as important, you'll help create a positive, inclusive culture where people work together, grow professionally, and deliver the signature Floyd's amplified experience.

LEAD THE SHOP. SET THE STANDARD.

• Deliver outstanding service to your own clients and lead by example
• Lead the shop team, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals
• Coach the team on customer service excellence and a consistently positive client experience
• Maintain strong visual merchandising, cleanliness, organization, and overall shop presentation
• Manage inventory levels, purchasing, supplies, and stock control
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and sanitation requirements
• Review sales reports and financial results, identify opportunities, and take action to improve performance
• Handle client questions, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally
• Partner with ownership to support company policies, initiatives, and shop goals
• Build a positive, inclusive, and productive environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5–10 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist or barber
• Active Minnesota Cosmetology license and Salon Manager license
• Proven salon, barbershop, or closely related retail management experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of retail sales principles and customer service best practices
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements for personal care services
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software
• Familiarity with visual merchandising and inventory management

EVEN BETTER

• Background in customer service training and team development
• A track record of driving positive sales growth in a retail or service environment
