Urology NP/PA Locums Opportunity
Start Date: ASAP | Coverage: Ongoing
Coverage Needs: 2–3 weeks per month

We are seeking 1 Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage for a medical leave assignment. This role includes a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, including urology clinic, surgical support, call coverage, and inpatient rounding.

Schedule & Coverage

• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Includes clinic, OR assistance, and call
• Call ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
• Beeper call with a 15-minute response time

Patient Volume

• 10–16 patients per shift

Responsibilities

• See urology clinic patients
• Assist with urology surgeries
• Participate in call coverage
• Provide inpatient rounding on assigned patients
• Cystoscopy experience preferred, but not required

Patient Population

• Primarily adult patients
• No routine pediatric patients
• Occasional emergency pediatric cases while on call

Support Staff

• 1 RN
• 3 MAs
• 4 APPs
• 7 office staff
